Google announces ‘Project Glass’. After earlier speculation about real life ‘Google Goggles’, Google has unveiled ‘Project Glass’ - augmented reality glasses that let you access Google services such as maps and information through a dedicated screen on one side of the glasses. They also allow you to take and share photos on the go using a built in camera. While no information has been released as to what sort of technology will be built into the glasses (they’re still in development), this earlier rumour suggested it would be similar to that of a a cheaper smartphone. It’s likely the glasses could be available to the public by the end of this year.
